Stone Foundation

Stone Foundation are a group of seven like minded individuals that team together to make an exciting blend of Soul and Jazz influenced music. They are based in the unlikely setting of rural Warwickshire, holed up in their own studio creating a sensational and dynamic soulful sound that is capturing the hearts and minds of live audiences and influential movers and shakers alike.

The band have played and released music with northern soul legend Nolan Porter, Detroit soul singer Steve Calloway and Motown legend and Undisputed Truth front man Joe “Pep” Harris. Stone Foundation also released a film in 2013 “Keep On Keepin’ On” Documenting their time recording and touring with Nolan Porter in the UK.

Their new album “To find the Spirit” features guest contributions and collaborations from Carleen Anderson (Young Disciples), Andy Fairweather Low (Amen Corner), Pete Williams (Dexys), ex NME scribe and author Paolo Hewitt, legendary Dub producer Dennis Bovell and US Soul man Nolan Porter (Paul Weller covered Nolan’s song “If I could only be sure” on his Studio 150 album)

The band have steadily built up a strong reputation on the live circuit through sheer hard graft which is reflected in their ever increasing loyal fan base, selling out gigs in London, Scotland, Wales and Ireland. They recently toured extensively throughout UK arenas as tour support to The Specials. Stone Foundation were personally invited to perform on the tour at The Specials request playing venues such as Alexandra palace, Glasgow SECC and the Ricoh Arena to thousands which helped bring the group’s name and music to a wider appreciative audience.

Stone Foundation’s songs have already been used in several US TV hit drama’s such as “Franklin & Bash”, “The Finder”, “Made in Jersey” and “Wilfred” once again bringing their music to the masses.
