Redwood make a welcome return to the Guilfest Main Stage on the Friday afternoon, their last outing being over 10 years ago when they replaced Asian Dub Foundation who dropped out at the last minute.

Signing in 1997 to American label Almo Sounds Redwood have released 7 albums working with many well known producers including Neil Davidge (Massive Attack), Mark Wallis (U2, Wildhearts), and Pete Smith (Joe Cocker). Their last album was the Guilfest exclusive ‘Roadtrip’ in 2007, a mixture of previously unreleased and rare tracks from the last 15 years, released to coincide with their stage 2 appearance.

They have toured with Feeder, A Thunder etc, playing venues such as Brixton Academy, Astoria, Phoenix Festival, and have had numerous TV appearances (Sky 1, CH4), with their music being used on Hollyoaks and also included on a CD given away with half a million Golden Grahams cereal boxes. The band were even interviewed live by Sacha Baron Cohen AKA Borat!

The band will also be playing a chilled acoustic set on the Sunday afternoon on the Acoustic Stage (rapidly becoming one of the Festivals most popular stages!)
