You have pruned the pages of this forum to remove negative comments.
The negative comments on here stopped me booking this event, you will mislead other families into thinking your festival is safe.
Shame on you.
At least be honest, otherwise you are thieving peoples money. |

| I still might. I will be camping in the stewards area so might be a bit safer. Always a bit of fun listening to some music whilst having a few beers. I have an iPod with itrip I sometimes use. Means you don't have to take a load of CD's but I'd be vexed if I it got stolen. |

I dont at all mean to trivialise the horrible security problems people faced last year but Ive been coming for 10 years and neither me or anyone in my immediate vicinity have had any problems with tent theft. If anything we've been too flippant and have been happy to wake up to find several bottles of (decanted) spirits still on the table where we've left them. It faces all of the problems all festivals face by it not the Bronx. |

I have to agree, although I would hate to think of anyone having their festival experience ruined by a minority of idiots causing trouble, theiving etc we have never experienced any issues like the ones that have been bought up here, although the most expensive thing we take is the cider supply!
I would never condone theft and think it is a real shame it happens however it is a fact of everyday life not just at festivals so would always urge people to leave anything remotely valuable at home and keep all money, phones, cameras with you at all times!!
I also do truely beleive that the organisers do take on bored what is said in these forums so any security issues that have been raised will be addressed!
Lets look forward to a great (relatively) crime free festival!! |

From previous festival experiences, especially Reading festival, most people look out for one another. Especially those new to the festival & camp opposite/close by. People there seem to mingle with surrounding campsites & therefore catch on if anything dodgy is taking place. Is this not the case at Gulfest or does the age difference between the people causing trouble (as I take it, most theft & disregard for property was caused by minors & teenagers) cause the conflict? |

| We tend to chat to anyone camped near and would get security to intervene if anyone that we thought didn't belong there was snooping about. We had a great couple camped next to us last year who didn't seem to leave the campsite much but kept an eye on our stuff while we were away. |
