Stewarding at Guilfest

GuilFest Music Festival - Stweards

Stewarding at Guilfest is great fun, you work 15 hours over the event so there's plenty of time to enjoy the music.

We are an independent festival, and one of the few that manages its own stewarding.

We do not ask for a deposit from stewards.

We recognise that stewarding is the most affordable way for many people to enjoy festivals.

Our philosophy, put simply is:  we do our best to look after you, and ask you to do your best to look after our customers.

We give you a meal for each shift you work, free camping, hot & cold drinks and a festival programme.

New for 2012 is our steward café based in the stewards campsite. Here you’ll be able to relax with a hot drink, buy cheap snacks like crisps, chocolate, cake etc. There will also be evening open mic sessions giving you the chance to perform at Guilfest !!

If you’re interested in volunteer stewarding at GuilFest 2012 please download the information pack and application form. It’s important to read the information pack as this will help you decide which type of stewarding to apply for. Please select the appropriate document download from the 2 options below.

The application form is set up to be typed into in Acrobat Reader. You can then save it and email it us. You could also print it off and post it to us.

We are surprised and saddened to hear that Guildford Borough Council has agreed to let Live Nation host a music event on Stoke Park this summer. We'd hoped after discussions at the end of last year between Guildford Borough Council and ourselves, there may have been the possibility for us to put on another "GuilFest mark 2" in the
summer but with this news it seems this will no longer be
possible... Read the full story »
