The Theatre Tent

One of the jewels in the crown of GuilFest, The Man In The Moon Theatre Tent returns for its seventh fantastic year.

The Theatre Tent stage features a whole host of local groups performing fantastic plays, musicals, dance, cabaret and poetry throughout the weekend.

Be sure to stop by, relax on a hay bale and be entertained by this fantastic oasis of productions. Kicking off each day at 1.30pm and running right through until 1.00am (9pm on Sunday) the tent features special late night performances from 11pm on Friday and Saturday, there really is something for everyone.

We are delighted to welcome our biggest ever line up of familiar and new faces including: 

Action Replay Drama Group, bitter/sweet (Frensham Heights), Camelsdale Primary School Choir, ChaSamba! Chloe-Lauren Smith, CRYPT (Cranleigh Young People's Theatre), Dynamic Performing Arts, eDance, Fasten Your Seatbelts, Ghosts, Jessabelle & Jo's Polesistas, Jessica Simmons, Last Minute Productions, Lost for Words, MDA Productions, No Direction, Quattro Formaggi, Rhythmic Collision, Sketched Out Theatre, Tea for Four, Thamesmead Theatre Company, The Herald Players, The Jubilee Team, The SAVVY Young Company, Theresa Hawkins School of Dance, Therfield Youtheatre, Tiny Turner, Totally Lost for Words, Wish and of course, the Theatre Tent hosts themselves: The Man In The Moon.

Keep an eye out for The Little Sisters of Poughkeepsie who also return to the stage of the theatre tent and indeed everywhere else during the festival. Don’t miss your chance to ‘Bless and Confess’.

We'd hoped after discussions at the end of last year between Guildford Borough Council and ourselves, there may have been the possibility for us to put on another "GuilFest mark 2" in the
