The Acoustic Stage

The Acoustic Stage has rapidly gained a loyal following & to and really has become one of the best parts of the festival.

Back in 2008 the Stage organisers decided on a change of direction as the stage wasn't reaching it's full potential.  Well it certainly seems to have worked & has now built a solid reputation with both audiences & performers alike.

2012 sees the strongest line up to date with local up & coming stars of the future rubbing shoulders with household names.

In the last 2 years we have welcomed Newton Faulkner, 10cc, Mungo Jerry & a host of others who wanted to come down & play.

2012 will be no exception with several big hitters coming from the bigger Stages to entertain us over the weekend along with 47 other great acts.

Opening the stage on the Friday we have open mic slots running 12pm-1.30pm booked via The Acoustic Stage Facebook page. (This is now full)

Come & chill out from 11am.

The music starts at Midday everyday & closes with the very popular sing along slots 11.30pm-1am Friday & Saturday and 10pm-midnight Sunday.

New for 2012
Sunday, we are proud welcome Ukejam, who are not only running a workshop from our marquee at 11.00am but they will be making their Guilfest debut at 12pm on the Stage.  We're really looking forward to this as it really gets the audience involved so bring along your Ukes and singing voices for a good old knees up.
