Scud Penguin

Scud Penguin are an original 3 piece from Kingston on Thames whose set is heavily influenced by the fabulously eclectic mix of British rock bands popular between 1976 and 1981.

From the amazing chops players in Dr. Feelgood and The Pirates, to the articulate story telling of Ian Dury and the Blockheads and New Model Army. From the crashy punk sounds of The Clash, The Undertones, and the Pistols to the compulsive ska rhythms of Police and The Specials.

Scud Penguin are popular on the London Promoter Circuit and can be found at Monto Water Rats, The Fiddlers Elbow, The Enterprise, The Comedy and many more. The other side of Scud Penguin is that the band organises and promotes charity gigs on behalf of The Children’s Society’s Make Runaways Safe Campaign.
