Rolo Tomassi
Rolo Tomassi’s unique sound encompasses a wide variety of genres including math-hardcore, acid jazz and progressive punk.
Named after the fictional character in Curtis Hanson’s #L.A. Confidential, Rolo Tomassi cite influences as US metal band Converge, prog rockers King Crimson and jazz saxophonist John Coltrane amongst others.
Formed in Sheffield in 2005, they became a regular on their local rock circuit and eventually signed to Hassle Records in 2008.
Since then the band have performed at various music festivals, supported Gallows and Throats, and released two albums, Hysterics and Cosmology.
