Young Country singer-songwriter, Paul Carella, straight from the rare Johnny Cash mould was born in Bellshill, Scotland. If you close your eyes and listen to that DEEP voice of his, it is hard to believe he is only 24 years old and British…even American audiences assume he is from Texas!
He is currently living in Richmond, where he thrills audiences with his wonderful tales of bar fights, lost loves and gunslingers. He’s built up a solid reputation in music venues around the UK, recently supporting American artist Steve Carlson on his UK tour which included gigs in Edinburgh, London and Putney.
Paul played a memorable set on the newly added "Vintage Stage" at GuilFest 2011 and worked with gifted singer-songwriter Caddy Cooper whom he supported at Kew Gardens for her EP Launch.
In 2009, Paul made it to the finals of a US radio song contest, HosstheBoss.com with his song "A Letter For My Brother" and is currently in the 2012 finals of it (http://www.hosstheboss.com) with his latest single "Never Missed A Show which is available on iTunes.
Paul is currently recording his second album and will touring Nashville in September '12. He’s an artist who writes and sings from the heart with his guitar, his harmonica and a whole snake skin boot full of songs!!
