GuilFest 2011 - Lineup

Play Dead Sister

Back at Guilfest for the 3rd year running, Play Dead Sister are to perform some striking material off their new EP 'Between Fires' , as well as old favourites such as 'Utopia' & 'Free'. PDS formed in 2007 from the depths of the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford as a pop punk band playing ever growing venues around town and London.

Over the last 4 years the 5-piece has varied regularly and is now fronted by lead singer - Amy Stott, guitarists - Jordan Hudson & Ed Templer, bassist - Jakob Parsons and drummer - Mo 'Slicks'. In the process of recording their second EP, PDS have established an eclectic though ultimately unique sound that has given them the recognition that they've hard earned over the past four years including the Guildford Eye Battle of the Bands Award back in 2010.

With a wide range of influences to each member PDS are seen to well fit the rock scene playing most things from slow and post core rock through to the pop punk genre that initially got them going. PDS well represent some of the best young talent for song writing and performing alike in the area, and will undoubtedly be putting on another show not to be missed.
