Ed Trickett (Vocals/Guitar)

Duncan Knowles (Bass)
Dave Hanley (Drums)

Coming to fruition in the Shropshire countryside in 2008, Library of June have spent the last few years honing their sound, playing alongside such varied bands as The Fall of Troy, Twin Atlantic, Amusement Parks on Fire and Will Francis of Aiden.

The result is their current EP 53 Weeks, which features tracks heard on The Radio 1 Rock Show, national and regional BBC Introducing Radio shows, as well as Kerrang! Radio.

At the end of 2010 the band were tipped by Rock Sound Magazines as ‘Ones to Watch’ in 2011.

Kerrang! described the EP simply as “Compelling”.

Big Cheese Magazine graced the EP with a more than respectable 3/5 rating and added, “The boys better prepare for the fast life”.

Rock Sound branded the EP 7/10 and commended the band as they “opt for their own sound, resulting in a debut to be proud of”.

The EP is complimented by a stunning custom piece of cover-art by New York based artist David Hochbaum. He admired LOJ’s music and their approach to creating it, which mirrors his own towards art. Needless to say the band were incredibly flattered. With collectors including Elton John and The Simpson’s creator Matt Groening, they are in good company.
