Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall's River Cottage

The River Cottage team will be running a canteen and workshops throughout this year's festival. Serving up a delicious menu of food and fun, and featuring River Cottage twists on some festival favourites such as organic bacon sandwiches, smoothies, spicy mutton burgers and other culinary delights, the canteen will aim to provide GuilFest visitors with the very best local and seasonal produce - all cooked up on a traditional wood fired barbecue.

As well as the canteen, “Three Hungry Boys” from Channel 4 will be running workshops, demonstrating the skills they learnt from Hugh on the TV show, such as making smokers, or building a fire. There will also be great gardening workshops and activities for kids run by the River Cottage team, showing them how to plant seeds and grow their own fresh veg - they will even be invited to plant a seed themselves, and take it home for them to grow!
