INFIDELS

“by far the best band we’ve seen all festival”                                                       Guilfest 09

“possibly the unexpected highlight of the weekend”                               Strummercamp 09

“fantastic…the Infidels/Meskies version was a killer”           with the Mescaleros, Italy 07

“put your shirt back on you fat bastard”                      supporting The Damned, Lincoln 05

“lock up your grandma – here come the Infidels”      anonymous - but thanks anyway!

Look out Guilfest, the Boys from Bomber County are Back! After premature retirement they’re back with some new members and new songs but the same fun attitude and mayhem that’s sure to get the Guilfest crowd jumping.

Yes, the Lads (and Lass) from Lincolnshire, regarded by many as one of the highlights of last year’s Guilfest, are here again in 2010 for their fourth consecutive appearance at the festival.

It’s a simple formula - no nonsense, no bullshit – just bloody good tunes and bucket loads of fun, including the coronary-inducing keyboard lunacy of crowd favourite Derby John. Come and see whether Little Johnny will make an appearance again this year!

Formed in 2004, united by a love of punk, ska, country, reggae and piano instrumentals?? THE INFIDELS soon developed their own very original Bomber County Sound, mixing loud, raunchy guitars with crazy keyboards, precision bass and a reggae/ska tinge. They’ve appeared with The Damned, Stiff Little Fingers, The Alarm, UK Subs and The Levellers amongst many others and have been regulars at Strummercamp, the Joe Strummer festival, in Milan, Bologna and the UK.

This year sees the Guilfest debut of the band’s new extended line-up. Original members Keith ‘Dicko’ Dixon (Bass), Mooney (Guitar) and Derby John Infidel (Keys and Lunacy), along with Danny Gatward (Drums) and Giles Infidel (Percussion), are joined by newer recruits Josh Lefty Lord (Guitar), Nathan Berger (Vocals), David (Trumpet) and Jane (Sax). Nice!

After hibernating for the long Lincolnshire winter in the depths of their newly built recording studio, they’re back with a truly eclectic Punky Party Reggae Mix. The fun is about to begin!
