Scott,13,(lead vocals and bass) and Joe,13,(lead guitar and backing vox) met in 2006 when they played live in the Houseband on BBC’s TMi show.

2 years ago they teamed up with Jack,14, (rhythm guitar and backing vox) and, later, Sam,14, (drums) to formT6D at Realistic Rock Academy, Epsom.

Since then, they have performed at about 100 gigs including such prestigious  venues as Monto Water Rats and the Troubadour in London, the Roadhouse in Manchester and the Pilton Working Men’s Club(home of Glastonbury).

They write their own music which is a mix of Indie/Rock, popular with all audiences; they’ve just released their 2nd CD-format EP.

They have featured on several radio stations such as Manchester xfm, where they were finalists in the Rockschool Competition 2008. Last year they were the Houseband for Radio 1’s Switch when their song ’Your Mum’s in the Mosh Pit’ was played live on air.

T6D were in 8 festivals last year including Butserfest and Guilfest where they played to the largest crowd on the Ben Sherman Stage.

They were runners up in the National Live and Unsigned Competition, having competed against 10,100 other bands.  In December they won the National Yamaha Download Competition, winning a day’s recording in the Stakeout Studio where they recorded their latest song, ‘Come Alive’.

This year looks set to be exciting with bookings already in to play at Glastonbury, where they are playing on the BBC Introducing Stage on 27th June and the Cambridge University May Ball.

T6D are looking forward to playing again at Guilfest and are delighted to be on the Rocksound Cave Stage.
