NOW IS EVERYONE

Now Is Everyone, a 4 piece band from Farnham in Surrey, were formed in September 2006 performing their first gig in January 2007. They then progressed to win the June heat of Farnham Battle of the Bands; the youngest ever band to do so, ending up a very close 2nd in the final.

They have built up a strong local following by gigging extensively, mainly in the Surrey and North East Hampshire area, at venues ranging from The Boileroom to Surrey University. Playing on the same bill with bands such as Kids in Glass Houses, You Me at Six, Enjoy Destroy and Canterbury. In 2008 they again progressed to the final of the Farnham Battle of the Bands.  In July the same year they were chosen over a very large number of other artists, to play at Guilfest in the Surrey Advertiser tent for the first time and were received very well, especially by Eagle Radio who were very keen to get them on their show.

The summer of last year saw them back at Guilfest whilst continuing to play as many gigs as they could (studies permitting) including supporting Telegraphs and Lights.Action at the Boileroom.

They also finished recording “Tears” at Britannia Row Studios in London with Kris McLaren who has worked with artists such as Snow Patrol, Embrace and Supergrass.

2010 has so far been a year of writing new material but they have found time to support Ex Reef band The Black Swan Effect. With interest being shown by management companies and bigger venues they are now looking to take things to a higher level.

2010 has also seen them featured on Phil Jackson’s BBC Introducing South show with comments from industry professionals Al Scott and Trevor Madison such as “The band have clearly got together and figured out the vibe they want, and its worked very well” and “The singer’s voice takes me back to King of Leon, he could be singing about anything and I’d still want to listen, there is something quite spiritual about a voice like that.”

Their first single ‘What We See’ is now available to download on iTunes
