September, Ironik and Fugative on the Ents 24 stage!

POPTASTIC!!!  GuilFest is very pleased to announce that: September, Ironik, and Fugative, have all been confirmed for a special Pop session on the Ents24 Stage on Sunday 12th July at GuilFest 2009!!!!!!

In the process of becoming an instant pop phenomenon last year, September hit #5 on the official charts with the huge ‘Cry For You’, spending eight weeks in the Top 10 and over 4 months in the Top 40. The song was the most played dance record of the year on UK radio and received a massive 5.3 million views on You Tube.

September, a pseudonym for the stunning Petra Marklund, is a proud owner of a Grammis, the Swedish equivalent of a Grammy & has already hit over 2.2 million views (and counting) with ‘Can’t Get Over’ on YouTube. With work nearly complete on her UK debut album and ‘Can’t Get Over’ ready to take over the airwaves, September’s profile is destined to go supernova in the UK.  GuilFest are delighted to welcome her to the Ents24 stage on Sunday 12th July

Ironik is the 21 year old urban superstar that took the UK charts by storm in 2008 with his debut single ‘Stay With Me’ and acclaimed album ‘No Point In Wasting Tears’.  Following the enormous success of ‘Stay With Me’, which reached no 5 in the UK charts, Ironik has toured constantly across the world and built up a huge number of dedicated fans.  Ironik’s music seamlessly straddles the line between R&B, grime, pop and hip-hop - Catch him performing live on the Ents24 stage on Sunday 12th July.

Fugative blasted on to the UK music scene in early 2008 with his massive hit “It’s Summertime”.  The song went straight into the urban music charts at number 2 and went on to sustain the number 5 position for 16 weeks!  His musical style of “hip-pop” being influenced by artists such as Pharrell, Kanye West and Akon as well as older legends such as Otis Redding and Marvin Gaye, Fugative is set to become a huge star in the urban music scene – you can see him at GuilFest on the Ents24 stage, also on Sunday 12th July.

These three exciting new artists join an amazing already announced GuilFest 2009 lineup of Motorhead, Brian Wilson (legend of The Beach Boys), Happy Mondays, The Wailers, Will Young, The Charlatans, Athlete, The Stranglers, Joe Bonamassa, Nouvelle Vague, Imelda May, Pendulum, DJ Yoda, The BossHoss, The King Blues and Eat Static.
