We are singe, formerly singe with an accent on the ‘i’, meaning monkey in French, but that’s slowly disappeared (probably a good thing). We’re a five piece from Napton, in the rural depths of Warwickshire in the Midlands . We’ve been together for about three years and people are starting to take notice of the brilliant vibe we give out which makes our live shows truly mesmerizing. There’s a certain aura about the band, a moment when you just know you’re watching something special.

We’ve recently had the first track of our EP play listed on Radio 2SX in Sheffield and have also had the same track broadcast on radio across the Hereford and Worcester area. Another achievement of Singe was the conquering of Bourne Festival in Lincolnshire in the beginnings of June, with great admiration and appreciation from audience and other bands alike. At New Year we spent all our hard earned cash from gigging on a 2 day stint in a studio, resulting in our 4 track EP, ‘Extended Play’, and are now looking to take our delightful combination of indie/pop (with the odd hint of country) to anyone and everyone who wants to hear us.

It’s a bit of an Osmond’s affair, with David & Jamie (brothers) and Joe & Stuart (cousins) all being of the Alsop variety. Which leaves Matt Whitton to show us all up.
