Scintilla are a four piece band based in London. They have a unique sound that combines the raw energy of punk, the melodies of pop and lyrics mined from the dark and twisted depths of Streatham.

Powerhouse riffs are provided by Sean, one-time guitarist for dayglo punk band Rubella Ballet. We have glam rock, courtesy of Candy Allan (formerly of cult band The Trudy). All firmly anchored by the loudest drummer in London, the Mighty Nitram (that does include his snoring abilities).

Scintilla have recorded with Grant Showbiz (producer of The Fall, Billy Bragg and The Smiths) and have featured on Steve Lamacq¹s Session Unsigned Show on Radio One.
