Formed early in 2003, Overdrive is a 5-member rock band.
As well as quality covers of legendary rock songs, the band is active in writing and performing their own material.
All from Hampshire, the band are all well qualified as musicians, and will stay together as they all move on to College in the next few months.
Their main influences in rock come from Queen, Guns ‘n’ Roses and Black Sabbath, including a particularly popular cover version of ‘Paranoid’.
Their own songs include Lone Ranger, All This Time and Safer Now Torn

In order from left to right –
Ollie Greenwood - Drummer – Ollie is a well-established drummer, playing for over 4 years, completing all grades and working hard to further his technique and playing style.
Harry Frankish - Lead Guitarist – Playing for over 4 years, Harry has produced his own unique writing and performing style, which gives Overdrive a different and original sound.
Simon O'Neill - Vocals – Simon brings the band alive, producing melodies and lyrics the audience can easily get into.
Tim Bubb - Bass Guitar – Playing bass for a similar time as Harry on guitar. Thumping bass lines and complex riffs make Tim’s playing original and recognisable.
Nic Cracknell - Rhythm Guitarist – bringing his own ideas to the band, Nic plays a vital role in the Overdrive sound.
