The inspiring sound of obscura hits your soul with a powerful and poignant force that is as individual as it is moving. This innovative London band are masters of the stage and their performance will leave you aching for more. The band is fronted by Nerys, whose passionate vocals are universally gratifying and touch even the coldest soul.

Nerys moved to the city in 2003 from North Hampshire where she met Andy, a brilliant guitarist and co-writer who helped her songs develop in the direction that became obscura. Bassist Ross and drummer Leon soon arrived on the scene as a rhythm section from heaven. The rich and diverse backgrounds to the four band members come together to create this original and memorable sound.

Beautiful breath-taking vocals, charismatic & sometimes threatening guitar riffs, haunting lyrics, extraordinary drums, intuitive, pumping bass lines and dark piano and a repertoire of songs that is unrivalled among other bands for individuality and strength.

obscura have been scouted for showcases at the Meanfiddler (LA2) based on their absorbing live shows. They play regularly all over London, building up their fan base and continuing to develop their strengthening stage presence.
