Metro formed in the summer of 2004 when Singer/guitarist Sally Tucker and a college friend started to play a few covers together, due to university commitments the band had a quiet run up to xmas.

In January 2005 Sally met a like minded musician who she convinced to play bass for the band, while her ‘old man’ agreed to fill in on the drums. The rhythm section allowed Sally to book many gigs during the next few months, gigs that took them all over the country. Just as the Interest starting bombarding the band the bassist parted company and was replaced for a number of big gigs by session bassists.

The summer of 2005 will therefore see Sally yet again searching for 2 more permanent figures to take over on Bass and Drums but with the ambition and drive she has and the catalogue of material surely finding 2 like minded musicians can’t be that hard…can it!?! One thing is for sure after surviving constant line up changes and auditioning over the summer this band are sure to come back stronger and even better than before.
