There is a vibrant musical life at George Abbot School with many students taking music at GCSE, A level and beyond into higher education. There is a wide range of extra curricular activities where students have the opportunity to focus on their performing skills. Sunday’s performance features the Choir who will be singing a popular programme. The students, from all year groups, join with staff to perform in school concerts and special events.

The George Abbot Swing Band is regularly to be found performing at events outside school and they have been on a concert tour to Italy. They have a large repertoire of popular music and swing. Recently a smaller group of the more experienced players have come together to form a Big Band and they are building up a repertoire of jazz standards
