From their base in a disused shooting range, Black Night Crash fire off short, bludgeoning bursts of belligerent rock n roll. This band is a crashing explosion in the black night of British guitar music, destroying the redundant London scene with a slew of monster riffs, crunching bass lines and knife-edge vocals.

Referencing the best in 70s big rock with the sounds of the mid-90s British scene that the lads came of age to, Crash have created a fresh and feisty noise for the new year. Intense gigging through the latter half of 2004 saw BNC develop into a fearsome live act that leave you begging for mercy and for more in equal measures.

The BNC sound is generated by the searing, scything voice of Jim Gipson allied to Adam Bailey’s killer guitar licks. Jobi’s dub/punk bass chops combined with Mezza’s mighty drum grooves are the rhythmic artillery to Jim and Adam’s machinegun delivery.

As the band strike out around the UK for the first time, the country is responding with enthusiasm. Media coverage is increasing – the band is soon to appear on the latest Barfly unsigned compilation, released online through karmadownload.com. Crash were also the cover stars of a recent York edition of Sandman Magazine.

Gigs with The Departure, The Subways and yourcodenameis:milo have steeled them in the face of stiff competition. Now Crash are keeping it black in 2005, appearing with The Black Velvets, BlackBud and Nine Black Alps . They have also been invited onto the bills at top festivals Middlesbrough Music Live and Guilfest 2005, making this a very exciting summer for the band.
