The 4ft.Soldiers have been together for 4 years and have played regularly during this time at high profile venues such as the Cavern club and the Barfly in Liverpool, the Roadhouse and the Late Room in Manchester and the Fez club in Sheffield. The band has supported various artists such as the Glitterati, Black Wire, the Koreans, and Oceansize. As well as supporting these acclaimed groups, the 4ft.Soldiers have also headlined two end of year festivals at Lancaster University in front of a combined audience of approximately 800 people. The band is also on the top twenty play-list of Bailrigg FM, which broadcasts from Lancaster (www.bailriggfm.com) with their single “Fade In” recorded at Elevator Studios in Liverpool where the likes of the Coral and the Zutons have also recorded.

More recently the band have played alongside the likes of Haven, Mani (Stone Roses), Andy Rourke (The Smiths) and the mighty Shola Ama at Manchester’s ‘Today’ festival in aid of Cancer Research.

Over the last four years the band has attracted a large following in both their hometown of Warrington and also in Lancaster, Manchester and Liverpool and are hoping to capitalise on this by playing at as many established venues as possible. During the summer of 2005 the 4ft.Soldiers are planning a tour of all major cities in Britain, looking to build upon their already growing reputation.

Visit www.4ftSoldiers.com for more details on the band or alternatively contact them via email band@4ftSoldiers.co.uk.
