I'd not heard much about Margaux before Guilfest - although as soon as she took to the stage I somehow knew that people wouldn't forget her that easily.

Margaux walked on with a confidence and professionalism that suggested that she was no stranger to playing on stage - her glittering outfit captivated the attention of the audiance as she launches into her set..

But it was nearly oh so different as she raced to get to Guilfest after being grid locked in London's notorious traffic - but like an ultimate professional she turned up, plugged in and peformed a great set.

Have you enjoyed yourself today?
er.. yeah, (she laughs) yes I have, we nearly didn't make it as you know but I am glad we did.

You certainly played well - do you think you'll be able to relax now and get to enjoy the festival?
I hope so.... I may go for a walk around and see what is going on, it certyainly looked colourful as we raced past everything to get here

Is there anyone here you want to go and see - maybe Alice Cooper
Alice Cooper! (she laughs again) There were a couple of people on stage 2 that I wanted to see - er (she thinks for a moment) yeah, i can't think of anyone in particular at the moment, you've caught me by surprise... think i'll just see what happens

OK - let me throw you even more by asking you a slightly different question to see what you're really like...Picture the scene, you are on tour and your tour bus breaks down..if you had to sacrifice your most treasured item to get it fixed, what would that be?
(she smiles) I don't know.... (I interupt) apart from your guitar which would be too easy.... (she laughs again) I'm not sure, maybe my shiny jacket, yeah, why not (I raise my eye brows as I catch a glimps her low buttoned jacket) (she laughs again) why not.... I like this jacket, do you not like it (I blush, laugh and reach for my notes)

So what has Margaux got planned for the future?
Oh, yes... I have some dates planned to promote my album "My Difference" and maybe a trip to the USA to do a few dates.

Sounds like this could be your year then!
I hope so, the album seems to be going down well so yes...I hope its my year too
