Bernard were the first act on the BBC Radio 2 main stage on Saturday. Donna, the vocalist for Bernard, broke the morning's peace and quiet with her shrill rock and roll alarm clock to start off the days events. Their sound check could be heard at the far end of the festival encouraging the sound engineers afterwards to shout a "Good Morning Guildford" down the on stage microphone. Bernard were going to be loud!

Their first song "Cold", grabbed the wandering GuilFest crowds and started the mass migration towards The BBC Radio 2 Main Stage. As first band on Bernard were intent on not going unnoticed.

Their 30 minute set blew away any cob webs that may have been left hanging from the night before. If anyone could be found still sleeping was either in need of medical help or a visit from a priest.

Bernard definitely rocked!
