My Girl Sleeps were formed in the summer of 2002 signing to Liverpool based E3 Records in January 2004. The signing came about from a UK tour culminating in a sell out show at The Cavern, Liverpool.
Their unsigned EP 'Broken' was picked as demo of the month in Total Guitar magazine in July 2003, and helped secure radio airplay and a television slot alongside The Fun Lovin' Criminals.
Following 'Broken' with another EP 'Never Forget What You Haven't Been Told' on the back of their 27 date UK tour shot them to Number 1 in the BBC Radio 1 One Music Chart, and kept them in the top 2 places for over three months.
In June 2004 they appeared on TV again, winning the ITV1 competition 'Music
