As forceful as the mentality it was named after, Bohica brings an explosive cocktail of American sounds mixed with that British edge. Bohica is about getting up close and personal, and sometimes downright intimate! Priding themselves on forming strong bonds with their fans and constantly evolving as a band, Bohica balance on the edge, pushing themselves to the limit at every chance. Singer J puts it like this - "Whether we're rehearsing, performing or just hanging out there is always that energy, that spark between us".
The Guildford based quintet came together in the dawn of 2002 and began to write and rehearse at every opportunity. Developing and honing their sound, it became obvious at an early stage that they had found a winning Bohica formula.
Hitting the live scene gave people the chance to experience the Bohica energy first hand, leading to the release of their 5 track EP, The Next Life, which sold out within weeks. Continuing to show off their awesome sound as a support act, it wasn't long before venues had these 5 individuals punching out their tunes to the eager crowds as headliners. Returning to the studio and keen to follow the success of their first EP, Bohica released their most intense and personal set of tunes yet, entitled Unsigned.
Working hard continuing to gig and perform the band are looking to take things to the next level, prepared to do whatever it takes to succeed.
